Community Outreach: Druga gimnazija Zenica

As part of our continued mission to connect with youth across Bosnia and Herzegovina, the BH Futures Foundation recently carried out a Community Outreach activity at Druga gimnazija Zenica — led by one of our very own scholars, Ajna Karić.

In a special visit to her former high school, Ajna returned as an ambassador of opportunity. With warmth, enthusiasm, and relatability, she shared her journey with BH Futures Foundation and introduced students to the wide array of programs, initiatives, and opportunities they can become part of.

From fellowships and mentorship programs to international conferences, skill-building workshops, volunteering, and research projects, Ajna presented a clear picture of how BHFF supports young people in becoming the best version of themselves — academically, professionally, and personally.

What made this outreach truly impactful was the genuine connection she established with the students. Speaking from experience, Ajna inspired them to step outside their comfort zones, dream big, and take that first step towards shaping their own future — just as she did not long ago.

At BH Futures Foundation, we believe in the power of peer inspiration and giving back to our roots. This visit was not only a chance to inform, but a moment to ignite motivation and confidence among students who are just beginning to explore their paths.
